Employer of record
Hiring in a country without your own entity, filed from the page that calls the product an employer of record. Pages opened 24 October 2026.
A tool is listed when the opened page says the provider can legally employ someone for the customer in a country where the customer does not have an entity. Contractor-only payment is not this list.
FeedbackPulse is not in this list. Its pages describe surveys, reviews, and a directory. They do not describe employing people in another country.
Deel, Remote, and Oyster each have an employer of record page. The fit under each name is the situation that page names. The order is a reading order, not a winner for every company.
The filed shortlist
No entity required
Deel
Deel's employer of record page says a company can hire and pay employees globally with no entity required. Its FAQ says an employer of record lets the company hire someone in a country without setting up a legal entity, and that Deel hires that employee on the business's behalf. The same answer says the employee is on Deel's payroll and still works for the company using the EOR.
The page says Deel owns entities and a payroll engine in 130+ countries, and a separate line says 150+ countries. It does not publish a price. Ask which count covers the country on this hire, and whether the quote is employment or contractor payment.
Ask on the demo
- Does this quote employ the person through Deel in the country you need, or only pay a contractor?
- Which of the two country counts on the page, 130+ or 150+, includes that country?

Owned entities
Remote
Remote's employer of record page says it hires and pays employees in 90+ countries where you do not have an entity, through owned entities and in-house experts, and that those entities are owned rather than run by a third party.
The same page lists employer of record pricing starting at $599 per employee per month and says the platform has no base fee. Ask whether that starting rate is the quote for this country, and which situation this hire is: a new region, a contractor becoming an employee, an acquisition, or a relocation.
Ask on the demo
- Is the quoted rate the published starting price of $599 per employee per month, or a different country price?
- Will Remote be the legal employer through an entity it owns, as the page describes?

Distributed teams
Oyster
Oyster's employer of record page says a company can hire globally with no entities required, generate compliant contracts, run payroll, and offer benefits, and that 120+ countries are supported. A later answer says an employer of record helps a business manage distributed teams without setting up local entities.
The page does not publish a price. It also describes hiring templates, equity, time off, and integrations with an HRIS. Ask whether this quote is employment in one country or that wider platform, and whether the country you need is in the 120+.
Ask on the demo
- Is this quote employer-of-record employment, with Oyster as the legal employer, in the country you need?
- What price applies, given the page does not print one?
